The Community Hub
Also known as Wonderful Wednesdays!

The Wednesday hub started in November 2022 and has taken place every Wednesday since, going from strength to strength, expanding over the years, culminating in the service and its volunteers being nominated for a 'Boston Heroes Award' in 2024.
The volunteers have created a wonderful hub that brings the community together, providing free refreshments, lunches, entertainment and activities. The hub also provides a space for 'The Bread and Butter Thing' to run from. ​

Just some of the entertainment and activities the hub has provided includes- bingo, jigsaws, crafting, quizzes, wreath demonstrations, tarot card readings, first aid demonstrations, performances from Old Leake Primary School Choir and The Beonna Community Choir, guest speakers, aromatherapy demonstrations and more! ​

​Transport arrangements can be made if you cannot get to Old Leake Community Centre on your own.​​​​​
